Dolly's Dream

There are many myths that surround pit bulls and pit bull type dogs at no fault of their own. These dogs are stereotyped, abused, abandoned, neglected and surrendered every day. Every year 1.2 million dogs are euthanized, approximately 40% of whom are Pit Bulls.

Furry Friends is proud to partner with the Dolly's Dream program to rescue, rehome, and one day help restore the image of all bully breed type dogs.

For more information about the program, please call our Adoption Center at 561.747.5311 ext. 2

Delilah

Delilah is a sweet girl that came from deplorable conditions. Her and her 9 puppies where living in a home that had no a/c or running water. She came in very skinny and shy, but despite that she was the best mama to her pups. Now she is ready to go to her forever home. She is coming out of her shell and is very sweet. She will need a patient and understanding home while she learns how to be a normal dog living in a loving home.

We estimate that Delilah is about 3-1/2 years old as of January 2021 and weighs a little over 50 pounds. Delilah is a nervous in new settings, so she will need time and patience as she adjusts to her new environment. She should NEVER be left outside unsupervised and should always wear a martingale collar when walking on a leash.

Delilah will also go home with a Conair goodie bag! Be the miracle! Let's give this sweet girl a chance at a happy ending.

Delilah is a Dolly's Dream Dog so her adoption fee is pre-paid.

sTELLA

Stella is a gorgeous girl who is about 4-5 years old and weighs approx 60lbs. She LOVES her people and is a big hugger and kisser!  She walks well on the leash and is a staff favorite.  A good belly rub will get you straight to her heart, not to mention a cookie.

Stella is best suited as the only dog and animal in the home as she does not enjoy other animals.  Please call our Jupiter location to meet this sweet girl for yourself.

Stella is a part of Dolly's Dream Program which helps promote adoptions of our loving 'square heads'.
